This 1960s house in the heart of Virginia Beach’s Pembroke area has been transformed with a beautiful rustic-style kitchen designed by Swedish Kitchens. They used IKEA’s Grimslov doors and drawer fronts, complemented by gold handles, a red-gold faucet, and matching light fixtures. The countertop is the popular Carrera Minuet quartz, and the floors are hardwood. Swedish Kitchens also installed all new appliances, including a dishwasher with a built-in cover panel, a 36-inch refrigerator with a water line, a gas range oven, a built-in microwave, and LED lights in both the glass and under-wall cabinets. The kitchen will also feature a country-style mosaic backsplash when finished.

Once you approve the design, we provide a project number for you to use when paying directly to IKEA, either over the phone or in person. Once your materials are delivered, we schedule an installation date. Our team will assemble and install the cabinets and appliances. We can also handle additional tasks like removing the old kitchen or installing new floors. After the cabinets are in place, we measure for your countertop (quartz, granite, or butcher block), fabricate, and install it. Next, we mount the sink, faucet, and food disposal. Finally, we install the backsplash, allowing 2-3 days for the thin set to set before grouting and cleaning.
