Located in the heart of Ghent's historic district in Norfolk, this kitchen blends classic charm with modern convenience. The Shaker-style Lerhyttan cabinetry showcases a striking two-tone design, with all-wood doors and drawer fronts that add warmth and character to the space.

A sleek, marble-look quartz countertop spans the surfaces, offering both durability and a touch of elegance. Thoughtfully chosen hardware in two different finishes creates contrast, making the design stand out in a subtle yet stylish way. This Axstad IKEA kitchen blends classic and modern styles for a cozy, welcoming feel. The navy blue lower cabinets contrast nicely with pure white uppers, creating a fresh and balanced look. A full wall of Calacatta Marina Quartz serves as both the backsplash and countertop, connecting the whole design with soft, natural veining. Gold accents—like the cabinet handles and faucet—add warmth and style, while the navy blue quartz sink integrates smoothly into the countertop for a unified appearance. Black stainless steel appliances complete the space, adding the right touch of contrast for a polished, finished look.

For this kitchen remodel, we went with a stylish two-tone shaker design using IKEA’s popular AXSTAD material—perfect for those who want both style and affordability. The homeowners in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake wanted a space that felt fresh, functional, and matched the character of their home, and that’s exactly what we delivered at SWEDISH KITCHENS.

One of the most exciting features is the custom bar area we added, complete with a wine cooler, open shelving, and a small bar sink—ideal for entertaining friends or just enjoying a quiet evening. We also made sure to include under-cabinet lighting to give the kitchen a warm glow, and we equipped all the drawers with inner lights and soft-close features for a modern, convenient feel. The range hood was seamlessly integrated into the cabinet above the gas range for a clean, clutter-free look. And to give the space that extra wow factor, we added glass doors with spotlights to a few of the wall cabinets.

Located in the historic heart of Richmond, Virginia, this duplex presents a unique investment opportunity as a high-end rental. To maximize its appeal, we designed two nearly identical kitchens on separate floors, emphasizing the luxurious feel that renters seek.

We opted for a contemporary two-tone kitchen design, using IKEA's FRÖJERED light bamboo fronts for the lower cabinetry, paired with white VEDDINGE upper cabinets.

Project Loblolly is one of the many projects, where Swedish Kitchens created beautiful and functional custom kitchen by using IKEA kitchen cabinet frames and custom doors and cover panels. For this project, the client selected Semihandmade's elegant White Quarterline Doors paired with sleek White Supermatte Slab Cover Panels to create a warm and elegant look.

We installed recessed lighting to enhance the kitchen's ambiance, laid down beautiful countertops, and managed all the plumbing needs. We also took care of the backsplash installation, ensuring it complemented the overall design. Additionally, we installed all the appliances provided by the customer, making sure everything was set up perfectly for their convenience.

SWEDISH KITCHENS transformed a home in the Kiln Creek neighborhood of Yorktown into a modern and stylish space. We opted for IKEA's Axstad cabinetry in navy blue, which brought a touch of elegance to the kitchen. The backsplash was updated with a two-tone glass tile, adding a sleek and contemporary feel.

To create an open and airy atmosphere, we knocked down a wall, installed new flooring, and added a ceiling-mounted range hood. Recessed lights were placed in the ceiling, brightening up the whole area and giving it a fresh, clean look.

A highlight of the renovation was the custom built-in nook seating area, designed to match the kitchen's color scheme and provide a cozy spot for family gatherings. The countertops were upgraded to Quartz Calacatta Miraggio Cielo MSI, featuring two striking waterfall edges that gave the space a sophisticated, polished finish.

Swedish Kitchens was responsible for design, assembly and installation of this  gorgeous IKEA kitchen, situated in Chesapeake, VA.  We used Premium Shaker Doors in White Oak from one of our partners EMBOLDEN Designer Doors which are made with traditional joinery by experienced craftsmen and are sprayed with a non-yellowing, UV cured clear finish. All fillers are made from solid wood and all cover panels are ¾" ply or MDF core with a matching White Oak veneer. Cover panels are flat slab veneers, but can be upgraded to Shaker style panels.

We have also created a custom cabinets that are on the right side of the fridge, by a special request of the customer, so they can store a broom, ladder and additional items, but doesn`t need a full size panty.

Swedish Kitchens did this elegant design assembly, and installation located in the Shore Drive area of Virginia Beach, featuring custom door fronts, drawer fronts, and panels from Swedish Door , in color handpicked by the client. The process is simple: you go to a paint shop and select a color that resonates with you, and Swedish Door will create doors and panels in that exact shade. This will give your kitchen a personal and unique touch. In this design, the COEN doors in Simply White complement the island’s custom color SW 9109 Natural Linen, selected from Sherwin-Williams by the client.

The kitchen is designed to impress with a 9-foot ceiling and double-stacked cabinetry reaching up to the ceiling for a sleek, integrated look. The marble-look quartz countertops are paired with a 24" backsplash and a 6" ledge, adding a touch of sophistication. A Moroccan copper faucet stands out as a focal point, while handmade handles from India add a global flair.

On this particular project with worked with IKEA cabinet frames and custom doors and panels from our long time business partner SWEDISH DOOR, so we can achieve that custom look kitchen without braking the bank of the client. The project included not only the kitchen, but a Butlers pantry located right next to it! Kitchen was executed with EMIL Door style by Swedish Door in Cadet Gray color and the Butlers pantry is designed with SVEN Door style in Matte Black.
